    soundproofing issues

excellent stay but minor improvements needed

The staff provided excellent service, especially Mark at reception who was friendly and offered help whenever needed. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent, with everything super clean upon our arrival.

The soundproofing in the rooms could be improved, as we heard noises from the hallway.

The staff were all AMIABLE, and the room was well-appointed and good-sized with an actual bed. The location was beautiful, not too far from Bagots Castle.

Brilliant, fairly clean hotel, good value. Variety of fine food for meals. The rooms with good facilities and a nice view, for example. Business area, magnificent location, next to the pub downstairs, the river- fab beer garden and garden area.

Requesting a riverside table at breakfast is worth it for a peaceful start to your day amidst beautiful views.

    poor connectivity

Riverside dining experience, unique historical setting, scenic outdoor seating areas

The outdated rooms need a facelift, especially the peeling wallpaper and worn carpets!!! Poor Wi-Fi connectivity is frustrating for any guest needing reliable internet, much room for improvement!!!

    friendly staff
    no-pet policy
    last-minute issues

Old Mill offers a charming and character-filled stay with large, well-furnished executive rooms. The breakfast featured a diverse selection of freshly baked goods and organic juices, catering well to business guests. The friendly staff were pretty good too ensure a comfortable experience.

The hotel has a no-dogs policy, which hindered our plans due to a last-minute pet-sitting issue.
